SENIOR DISCOUNT PROGRAM
All senior citizens 65 and over are entitled to receive a Senior Discount rate on all transports in San Francisco, Marin, San Mateo and Alameda counties. Seniors 65 and older should call our billing office at (415) 931-3000 ext. 117 for more information about our Senior Discount Program.
SAFETY
Our drivers are professionally licensed and managed by a team of medical emergency professionals. Van drivers and attendants are First Aid and CPR Certified, maintain constant radio communications with King-American's emergency medical staff and are supported by teams of Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians.
OUR DRIVERS DO NOT ACCEPT TIPS
AMT is an affiliate of King – American Ambulance Company, a licensed emergency medical services provider. As such, we “answer to a higher authority!” AMT drivers are not allowed to accept gratuities.

WE DO STAIRS
Personalized care and door-to-door service means we do stairs for wheelchair bound patients. For stair service, we provide two member crews including an AMT driver and attendant. AMT attendants will carry wheelchair bound passengers up and down stairs. Some weight restrictions may apply, please call (415) 931-1400 for rates and more information.
RELIABILITY
in addition to radio communications systems, AMT vehicles are GPS linked to our dispatch center providing monitoring and tracking of location.
24 HOUR RESERVATIONS
Our dispatch center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

AMT is a division of King American Ambulance Company. AMT drivers are supported by a complete staff of emergency medical personnel, radio communications, a 24 hour dispatch center and the vehicles and resources necessary to ensure safe, reliable, professional service. AMT van drivers are trained in passenger comfort and safety. They are CPR and First Aid Certified. Door to door service means we do stair carries for wheelchair bound passengers.
Serving San Francisco since 1906, King-American Ambulance Company provides emergency and non-emergency medical transportation employing teams of Paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Medical Dispatchers. The company also provides Critical Care Transports (CCT) with teams of Paramedics utilizing local hospital nurses and physicians. In addition to answering private calls for ambulance service, King-American is an authorized Advanced Life Support (ALS) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provider for the City & County of San Francisco providing emergency medical response to the 9-1-1 system in cooperation with the Department of Public Health.

DRIVERS COLLECT NO CASH
NO TIPPING

We can bill you for service. Personal and corporate checks are accepted.

INSURANCE CLAIMS
A physician’s certification of medical necessity is requested for all insurance billings. Patients and care-providers should contact their insurance or health plan for prior service authorization. Wheelchair van service is not a Medicare covered benefit.
